Rilla Alexander
Rilla Alexander is drawn to (and draws) the simplest things in life - a warm hug, a hearty meal, a captivating book and a satisfying sleep.
Her cast of creatures have populated the walls of the Fox Hotel in Copenhagen
(where she replaced the bed with a tent), appeared on credit cards for the Swiss Cornér Bank and danced across ceramics for German porcelain maker Rosenthal.
She is creating a growing range of children's products for Madrid's Museo del Prado based on the Hieronymus Bosch masterpiece "The Garden of Earthly Delights" and her characters masquerade in Grimm Brother's Fairytales for German publishers.
Rilla is a member of Australian design and art collective Rinzen.
