Non-Format Get Cosmic.
The kings of design in the music industry, Non-Format, have once again created album artwork for Lo Recordings latest release, Milky.Disco.Three, To.The.Stars. The album features spacey cosmic disco tracks and we think staring into Non-Formats stratosphere of geometry will get our feet a tappin'.

Craig Redman Gets Busy.
Craig Redman, of Rinzen fame, has lots for us to look at. Craig’s alter ego, Darcel, was last spotted at the opening of Louis Vuitton’s new London store. Craig created a series of gorgeous illustrations showing Darcel’s ‘champagne blurred’ experiences of luxury at the stores extravagant opening event.
On the other side of the world Craig has a piece in the show, ‘Technicolour Japan’ at Vue Privee Gallery, Singapore. The inaugural exhibition sees artists reworking images from the gallery’s collection of 1900s Japanese photography. The exhibition runs until July 4, look for Craig’s piece named, ‘The sky is black, can’t you feel it?’.

Jonathan Gray on The Observer
Jonathan Gray’s (Gray318) book jacket illustration for Jonathan Safran Foer’s novel, Everything is Illuminated, has been used as an example of the differing book covers designed, depending on where in the world they are sold. The article discusses why books are re-jacketed and re-designed & the debate of why it is necessary to do so. We personally think Jonothan Gray’s version of Everything is Illuminated rules. Read the article on The Guardian’s website here.

Pietari Posti & Tim Parks
Pietari Posti has illustrated a set of book covers for Random House for the best selling Author Tim Parks. The books hold tales of the authors travels around Italy. Spines of the books form a flag of Italy when placed on shelves. In true Pietari style, Italy is represented through re-interpreted washed out traditional Italian colours.

Craig Redman, Darcel & Colette
Australian born, New York based illustrator Craig Redman (of design collective Rinzen), has collaborated with Parisienne gallery Colette to bring his monocle clad, ever disappointed character Darcel to life. “And a miserable day to you too”, runs from May 3 – 29 and is a collection of paintings, prints, sculpture, animation & blogging. Darcel was born in the world wide blogosphere, he takes us on a journey of daily struggles, raw observations & feelings translated through bold colourful block colours. Craig Redman’s blog, Darcel Disappoints is worth keeping high on your bookmark list for reassurance that what your feeling, Darcel probably is too. After picking up a baguette & a wheel of cheese we highly recommend heading to Colette to visit Darcel, you never know it might brighten his day. You can also follow Darcel’s woes on Twitter.
